Family house
The family house is located on an extremely narrow plot of only 12 meters wide, with the maximum permitted width of the building being only 6 meters. An additional challenge in the design was the pronounced slope of the terrain. In order to respond to the demanding entrance parameters and avoid the impression of a monolithic, elongated volume, the concept is based on breaking the building into several smaller elements. The body of the house is divided into four volumes of different dimensions and heights, offset from each other, which achieves a more dynamic spatial and visual composition. The facade treatment in a combination of stone and plaster further emphasizes the indentation of the volume. A recognizable element of the facade is the square windows of different sizes, which contribute to the rhythm and character of the facade. The height difference of the terrain was used to organize the interior through four half-levels: entrance area, living room, bedroom and children's playroom.
